Asobism Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is deeply aware of the importance of protecting all personal information. It has therefore determined the following policies as regards the handling of personal information, and executes them faithfully.

  1. The Company shall acquire personal information by an appropriate means. The Company shall also use it only for specified purposes, except for cases based on laws and regulations or the like. To avoid its use for other purposes, we shall take preventive measures. Furthermore, except for cases based on the laws and regulations, the Company shall not provide it to a third party without the consent of the person concerned.

  2. The Company shall take measures for appropriate safe management of personal information to prevent illegal access to it, or leakage, loss, or damage thereof, and correct it if required.

  3. The Company shall establish a contact desk for enquiries, complaints, and consultations concerning personal information, and respond sincerely to them.

  4. The Company shall comply with laws, regulations, ordinances and policies provided by the national government, and other norms, concerning the handling of personal information.

  5. The Company shall construct a management system for protection of personal information, and improve the system continuously.

Handling of Personal Information

The personal information handled by Asobism Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is managed with proper care in accordance with the following rules.

  1. Purpose of use
    The personal information acquired by the company shall be used for the following purposes.

    1. Purposes concerning the products and services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the products" and "the services")

      1. Provision of the products or services (including services associated therewith; hereinafter the same)

      2. Guidance regarding the products or services, and advertising and publicity relating thereto

      3. Improvement of the products or services, and development of new contents and services

      4. Confirmation of applications to use the products or services, confirmation of the identity of the person concerned, and prevention of illegal use thereof

      5. Invoice requests regarding for the products or services

      6. Notifications to users of the products or services

      7. Response to enquiries from users of the products or services

      8. Market research and trend analysis concerning the products or services

      9. Seeking consent for any new use of personal information by the Company

      10. Release on the official website and official SNS of the Company

      11. Publication, broadcasting and distribution in newspapers, magazines, websites, TV programs and other various media, which the Company has permitted.

      12. Other purposes of use for which consent has been separately obtained from users of the products or services by the Company.

    2. Purposes concerning Employment Screening

      1. To provide various types of company information, and details of employee recruitment

      2. To conduct employment screening

      3. To notify each applicant concerned of the result of employment screening

      * The results of employment screening and the personal information of persons selected will be utilized as human resource information for the Company after joining the Company.

  2. Information to Be Disclosed by the Company
    If the Company is requested to disclose information (that is, information for which the Company has the authority to enable it to respond to a request stipulated in paragraph 5, among the personal information held by the Company; hereinafter the same), the Company will respond to such disclosure request. For the method to request disclosure, see paragraph 5. However, the purposes of use for such disclosure are as described in the preceding paragraph.

  3. Complaints desk concerning the handling of personal information to be disclosed by the Company
    The Company accepts complaints concerning handling of personal information subject to disclosure by the company at the personal information enquiry desk specified in paragraph 5.

  4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
    If the Company provides personal information to a third party, the Company shall specify the third party and the content to be provided, and then obtain consent from the person concerned. However, this condition shall not apply to the following cases.

    1. The case where such provision is based on laws and regulations.

    2. The case where personal information is provided in association with the succession of business due to merger or other reasons.

    3. The case where such provision is required to protect the life, body or property of the person concerned, but it is difficult to obtain his/her consent.

    4. The case where such provision is required in particular for improvement of public health or the sound growth of children, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.

    5. The case where the Company is required to cooperate with a national agency, a municipal government, or a person entrusted thereby who accomplishes affairs stipulated by laws and regulations, but the consent of the person concerned may hinder such affairs.

  5. Notification and Disclosure of the Purpose of Use of Personal information, Correction, Addition or Deletion of Contents, Discontinuation of Use, Request Desk for Erasure and Discontinuation of Provision to a Third party, and the Request Method Thereof

    1. The user may request notification and disclosure of the purpose of use, the correction, addition, and deletion of contents, the discontinuation of use, the erasure of such information, and the discontinuation of provision to a third party.
      The Company cannot accept these requests through a visit to the Company, or by phone or e-mail. Please make such requests by post to the following request desk:

    2. To make a request as described in the preceding (1), please send documents in which the following items are stipulated. However, please note that if the contents of the relevant documents are incomplete or insufficient, the Company may not be able to respond to the request.

      Documentary Information to Be Included When Making a Request

      1. Download the 'Personal Information Disclosure Request Form', and fill in the required fields.

      2. A document that identifies the person (a copy of an official certificate such as a driver's license, health insurance card, pension book, residence card, passport, foreigner's residence card, etc.)
        * When sending these documents, please make sure to black out any items that fall under sensitive information (e.g., legal domicile outside Japanese administrative divisions, healthcare-related information, etc.) so that they are not visible.
        * If we have your telephone number, email address, etc., we may be able to verify your identity using this information, so please contact us.

      3. If the request is made by the person's representative, a power of attorney from the person

      4. In case of a request for disclosure, a request fee (fixed amount money order or postage stamps for 500 yen)

    3. Personal information acquired by the Company due to a request as stipulated in the preceding item shall be handled only within the limits required to comply with the relevant request. Please submit the request after agreeing with this item.

    4. The Company will reply to a request as stipulated in item (1) by mailing of the "Personal Information Disclosure Response Form", or by a method to which the person concerned has agreed separately.

    5. The Company may not be able to respond to a request as stipulated in this paragraph in case of violation of laws and regulations or due to other reasons. If such a case has occurred, the Company will contact you and explain the reason.

  6. Revision
    The Company may revise all or part of the contents of "Handling of Personal Information" as required. If an important change has occurred, the Company will notify you of it.
